Grade 8 Max-Alloy® Components
All McKinnon Chain Max-Alloy® Grade 8 lifting components are fully compliant with EN 1677 Part 1 and ASTM A952/A. Components are forged from fine grain alloy steel, followed by crack detection tests after heat treatment, and finally proof tested at 2.5 times the working load limit. They can be used in chain slings certified to EN 818 Part 4, withstanding temperatures from –40°C up to 200°C without a reduction in the working load limit.

The Grade 80 Max-Alloy® Connecting Links are designed for heavy-duty applications, available in sizes ranging from 7/8mm to 32mm. These links offer Working Load Limits (WLL) from 2.0 to 31.5 tonnes and feature robust construction with varying dimensions to suit different chain sizes and load requirements. Each link's mass ranges from 0.15 kg to 8.21 kg, ensuring strength and reliability for demanding tasks.

Forged from fine grain alloy steel, they undergo crack detection and are proof tested at 2.5 times the working load limit. They can be used in chain slings certified to EN 818 Part 4, functioning between –40°C and 200°C without a reduction in load capacity.
